Spring Harvest - Mar 09

Beth did some picking today and pulled in some turnips, carrots, onions, sugersnap peas, brocholi, and a potato (we missed in the fall). It wasn't a big haul, but inspiring and some good experiance of what to expect with a winter garden. Melissa took the sample picture on our kitchen table. Our indoor seedlings are starting to sprout and in a couple weeks we'll be past the average frost date and brave enough to take them outside. This year we're trying a raised bed Garden-by-the-Foot as one of our experiments and hopefuly that will help us maximize our limited space.
